The Gospel of Mark is predominantly the story of divine action in the midst of a sinful world.

The first Gospel written – 60 - 70 AD Chapters 1-9 = Jesus came to minister
Chapters 10-16 = Jesus came to give His life Used “immediately” over 40 times
Encouragement? In our suffering and struggles we can trust the Suffering Servant! Set the story straight? To document Peter’s sermons? To tell us the story of Jesus! That we may become a doer of the Word and not just a hearer!
